Schedule: Monday - Friday, June 10 - July 12, 2019 from 9:00am - 3:00pm

No Class: Thursday, July 4 for Independence Day

Location: Youth Studio & the Great Outdoors Studio

Level: Ages 6 - 11 (Students must be in Kindergarten to apply)

Full Program Tuition: $985 Member / $1,230 Non-Member ($50 supply fee included in tuition)

Our annual Summer Art Experience program offers a diverse fine arts experience geared to exercise the imagination, keep the mind and body active, develop meaning, individual self-expression and creativity while having fun! This year young artists will explore the word Aloha and the gifts of nature through, weaving, fiber arts, design, sculpture, drawing, painting, printmaking, dance, writing and playing their way through exciting activities each day. Each week offers a new theme, hands-on projects and new art materials to explore and ends with a gallery walk where students share and appreciate the work of others. Our summer program culminates with students lead gallery tours, presentations and performances, an award ceremony and an aloha style potluck feast celebrating the gifts from nature.

Partial Scholarships:

Generous donors help make it possible for serious young artists ages 6 - 18 to attend Donkey Mill Art Center. Scholarship applications will be available on April 17, 2019.

Wednesday, April 17: Registration opens, Scholarship application available

Saturday, May 22: Scholarship applications due

Friday, May 25: Notification of scholarship awards

Friday, May 31: Accept and pay for scholarship awards

Program Dates:

Parent Orientation - Thursday, June 6 from 6 - 7pm

Opening Reception and Award Ceremony - Friday July 12 from 1:30 - 2:30pm

Closing Reception BBQ and Silent Auction - Saturday, August 10 from 3 - 5pm
