No Class: Thursday, July 4 for Independence Day

Location: Main Space

Level: Ages 12 - 16

Full Program Tuition: $985 Member / $1,230 Non-Member ($50 supply fee included in tuition)

Art is an extension of your personality! Our annual Teen Summer Art Experience gives young artists an opportunity to develop their creativity and art skills by exploring the wide variety of art media. Students at this age focus on using their identity as a starting point to connect with creating and finding meaning. Weekly sessions may include painting, drawing, jewelry fabrication, VR, bookmaking, silkscreen, photography, printmaking, ceramics some collaborative projects and more! This art experience will inspire teens with hands-on projects designed to build fine art skills and to develop innovative thinking. Our program culminates with student lead gallery tours, presentations and performances, an award ceremony and a potluck feast. 

Partial Scholarships:

Generous donors help make it possible for serious young artists ages 6 - 18 to attend Donkey Mill Art Center. Scholarship applications will be available on April 17, 2019.

Wednesday, April 17: Registration opens, Scholarship application available

Saturday, May 22: Scholarship applications due

Friday, May 25: Notification of scholarship awards

Friday, May 31: Accept and pay for scholarship awards

Program dates:

• Parent Orientation - Thursday, June 6 from 6 - 7pm
• Opening Reception and Award Ceremony - Friday July 12 from 1:30 - 2:30pm
• Closing Reception BBQ and Silent Auction - Saturday, August 10 from 3 - 5pm
