Creative Outlet: Mixed Media

Join us once a month at the Mill as we connect you to local artists and to your own creativity while you pau hana with new and old friends. Activities include silk screen, lei po‘o, faux batik, printmaking, painting and so much more!

Activity: Mixed Media with Linda Meyer

Work with a mixture of acrylic paint and cornstarch and a variety of tools to create textured and patterned paper that can be used as collage material or be a complete work of art in it’s own right.  This is a fun spontaneous and creative experience perfect for artists of all levels from first timers to life-long makers.
 
The Mill will provided: Acrylic paint, freezer paper, 8x10 copy paper, hot water and cornstarch
 
Students Bring: Something to drink and snacks
